I believe we can all benefit from therapy. Life often gives us struggles and difficulties that we need to talk through with someone. I’m a caring and compassionate therapist with 30+ years of experience in dealing with various life issues.
My name is Debbie Good and I’m a well seasoned therapist with 30+ years of experience. I’ve worked in a Family Health Team as a therapist for the past 18 years, and tutored Medical Residents at McMaster Medical School for the past 6. I am a person who has a passion for helping others to feel understood, safe and nurtured. I support my clients in working through challenges in a caring compassionate manner. I help clients learn about what is happening in their brain and why, and find new and more helpful ways of relating to themselves and others.
Therapy can be a great place to learn about yourself , especially if you are wanting to see changes in yourself, your life or just need someone to talk to and feel heard. Caring for yourself is important. I care for myself through my own mindfulness practice, creating through pottery and watercolour art, gardening, and lots of outdoor walking with my husband and our dog, Lucy.
